Me with my hair :)
These days, whenever I go to the hospitals for medical checkups, I often see many children without hair. Some were wearing hats even in the summer. So I asked my mother: “Why are they wearing hats when it’s so hot outside?” She told me that they were suffering from cancer, and lost their hair due to the powerful treatment.
After visiting the hospital a few more times, I made a decision. I decided to donate my hair to these unfortunate children to help them.
I have grown my hair ever since I was five. I loved my long hair: its texture and tying and braiding my hair. I never even thought of cutting it so short. Yesterday, however, I cut my hair short. I was somewhat worried that short hair would not look on me. Actually, it looked pretty good.
And you know what? The hairdresser told me I didn’t have to pay as she also wanted to participate this event by donating her talent, so I did everything for free!
I suggest you cut your hair as well to bring happiness to the sick children suffering from the horrendous disease: cancer.
