Descriptive Scene

I get on the crowded subway. Of course, I have to stand, and get pushed around. There is a person in front of me, and suddenly I notice something. The person’s hand reaches a pocket, and when he takes his hand out, he has a Gucci wallet. Then, quickly, he goes to another place, with me there. I stand awkwardly, but then the man in front of me looks back and says, “This gypsy stole my Gucci wallet!! He’s a thief!” Everyone starts accusing me. Just because of my looks. With my bandana, my necklace, and my long robe, it’s obvious to them that I am a ‘gypsy’. With the stereotype people have about my culture, this happens often. I get accused of being a thief, kidnapping, and other crimes. Did they question any doubt at all? NOPE. One single look at me, and they accuse me, when I’m innocent. No matter how much I claim that I’m innocent, they never seem to listen to me.
